A member of VAL would like to alert all members that may be contemplating buying gallery wrap canvas from Jerry’s Artarama. They advertise “archival quality pure white titanium primer applied”. In trying to use this product, it was found that if there is any primer on it at all it’s not working. It soaks up the paint like raw, unprimed canvas! Catalog numbers start with 59350A, 57234A, etc. It would be difficult to use without having to prime it before using it; know that before ordering.
