New Member Focus: Vonda Seeliger

Hello Everyone! I am a new member to VAL. My name is Vonda Seeliger. I am originally from Houston but lived the last nine years in Austin. I recently moved to Lewisville to get closer to my sister, brother and mom and dad whom all live near the Dallas area.
In 1991 I received a BFA degree from The University of Houston with a major in Photography and minor in Art History. I have worked as a photographer, graphic designer, and computer imaging artist. In 1998 I received an All-Level Art Teacher Certification at The University of Texas at Austin. I then taught art in Round Rock ISD. Recently, I accepted a position to teach art this Fall at Evans Middle School in McKinney ISD.
I create art through photography, painting and drawing. My subjects include mostly landscapes and birds. My favorite is Cockatiels since I have some for pets. Welcome Vonda!
