Visual Art League’s Third Annual Benefit Sale.

This coming 16th,17th and 18th of November the Visual Art League of Lewisville will be conducting it’s third annual Benefit Sale. VAL artists will be donating original art priced at $100.00 less (often much less). Art by our members represent various styles, materials and media. In past years, the Lewisville C.C.A. and Denton SPAN have been the beneficiaries of original art graciously donated by VAL artists.

This year’s sale will be to benefit the VAL gallery itself. Due to increased costs due to expanding the display and storage areas and a more extensive exhibition schedule than past years we have found that the gallery maintenance has fallen short. We hope that all VAL’s friends and family will participate in this year’s sale. With our communities help VAL will continue to offer first class exhibition, demonstration and art talk opportunities to noted professional visual artists as well as our members.

We hope that you’ll join us. The Benefit Sale will be open from 2pm to 6pm on the 16th and from 10am to 6pm on the 17th and 18th at the:

VAL Gallery
Lewisville West Shopping Center,
710 S. Stemmons Fwy., #115.
Lewisville, Texas 75067

In addition to the Benefit Sale, several VAL members will be offering their work for private sale at our annual Artisan’s Sale located in the VAL rear gallery. Artists interested in participating in the Artisan’s Sale should email Bruce Schiefelbein at bschiefelbein@verizon.net. 5 more display spaces are available. Exhibitors will be responsible for staffing their displays. The cost per artist is $20.00 for ½ table, 5 linear feet of wall space and covers all three days. Display setup will occur after 6pm on November the 15th.

Work being contributed for the Benefit Sale should be brought to the VAL Gallery between 6pm and 9pm on Nov 14th and 15th.
