Cinco de Mayo Mail-Art Call
March 28th, 2008
- All are invited to send mail art to celebrate the Cinco de Mayo Festival held in Lewisville, TX on May 3, 2008
- Art mail sent from 2/15/2008 to 4/25/2008 will be considered for display.
- Mail art will be displayed at Visual Art League of Lewisville (VAL) Gallery and during the Cinco de Mayo Festival from May 3-May 10 in Lewisville, TX
- No jury, no fees, no returns and envelopes are not opened
- Participants are asked to place their return address and information on back of the mail art envelope.
- Images of installed art mail will appear on the VAL web site
- By submission of your mail art to VAL, you give permission to VAL to own and display your submitted mail art.
- #6 or #10 envelopes are preferred
- Mail art will be mostly displayed in a vertical format
- Only art mail depicting the Cinco de Mayo theme will be displayed
