Joyce Tremethick — Ornament Decorating Class
On November 8, 2011 – 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Joyce Tremethick will be teaching an ornament decorating class for the Tuesday, November 8, 2011 meeting.
All supplies will be provided and everyone is asked to attend and participate with the end result being a beautiful ornament to take home and one to be used in the upcoming VAL Holiday Celebration on Tuesday, December 13, 2011,
Joyce has taught this class several times in the community and her ornaments are highly sought after during the holiday and gift giving season.
Joyce Tremethick Biography
Joyce can see a color, a smile, a little piece of hope, and a picture in most things. She began her artist venture just by chance. One snow-covered day without forethought or afterthought, she picked up a brush, and the rest is a story in many canvases and in many colors. Her draws inspiration for the things she create is peace and serenity through the eyes of nature. An achievement through passion is how she likes to describe herself. And because of this passion, she founded One 2 One Personal Training in 1996 where it remained viable for 14 years.
During her years as a personal trainer, Joyce has helped thousands achieved renewed new esteem.
Joyce is an award winning member of VAL since 2008. Most notably, she help organize the Western Days fundraiser for the MCL Grand, in which 100 boots were donated and painted/decorated by various VAL artists.
Joyce is currently a certified Juror for the State of Texas V.A.S.E — the Visual Arts Scholastic Event; only one of its kind in the nation, V.A.S.E. recognizes exemplary student achievements in the visual arts.

Greater Lewisville Arts Alliance — Angel Awards 2011
The 2011 Angel Awards Ceremony is hosted by the Lewisville Lake Symphony.
The ceremony will be held Sunday, November 13 at 1:00 PM in the Recital Hall at Medical Center of Lewisville Grand.
Following the ceremony and reception, the Symphony will be performing its concert, Veteran’s Salute, at 2:30 PM.
Each invitation to the Angel Awards will include a promotion code that will provide a discount on tickets to the concert
For anyone attending the awards ceremony. Diana McMillin will serve as the coordinator for the Angel Awards.
