Greater Lewisville Arts Alliance Angel Awards 2011

VAL’s own Murthy Mantha was awarded a 2011 Angel Award. The ceremony was held on Sunday, November 13. A number of Visual Art League members attended the ceremony. After the awards presentation a small reception was held for the honorees.

Our October meeting was action packed! We heard from Wanda, Murthy, and Jim Wear of the MCL Grand detailing our transition. A special thanks to Darla Bostick who gave a wonderful demonstration of her watercolor collage painting technique.

Also thanks to everyone who donated nibblies for the meeting.
